ERT Correction reminder

Do Your Best To Enter A Current Title Number
As has been the case since last year, SOS mandates that all ERT data entry fields be locked at 90 days and any edits after that be submitted with their ERT Correction Sheet (buck sheet).

We ask that you verify that the buck sheets are being completed for any CVR applications that have handwritten corrections on them, as failure to do so can result in the title being issued out without the requested corrections. It is particularly imperative that CVR applications surrendering "Manufacture Certificates of Origin" requesting corrections have the buck sheet completed in full.

If a title is issued without the requested correction being made, the completion of an ERT Correction Sheet facilitates the qualification for a retake title to be processed at no additional cost.

Please Return Any September Voided CVR Inventory

This is a monthly reminder to return any of your voided IL SOS inventory, which is due to be returned under your agreement with IL SOS and CVR.  If you've already done this, or have no voided inventory, please disregard this notice.

To keep a current and accurate record of your returned inventory, please run your Inventory Return Report weekly.  Per the Illinois Secretary of State (SOS) rule, any inventory that was marked as a 'returned' item (damaged, missing, obsolete), in the month of September, must be returned to the IADA office by October 31, 2024.  If the inventory is not returned by October 31, 2024, the Illinois SOS requires that your account be automatically debited for $151.00 per item.

If you need assistance with this process, contact Chloe Mulvaney at IADA, (217)753-0220.  Or click here for CVR instructions.

Please keep copies and proof of delivery of everything you send in.
