An ESA bill made it past the legislative "funnel" this past week and is eligible to be debated on the floor of the Senate!
SF547 provides for Education Savings Grants for special needs students - those with Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and 504 plans - and some students denied open enrollment. Under this bill, a portion of the state school funding for that student would be deposited into a special account which their parents could use for qualified educational expenses.
Please contact your state Senator ASAP and voice your support for parental choice in education and this bill. You can easily do that by visiting our
