Chiropractors: Contact Senator Peters, Senator Slotkin, and Your Member of Congress on the Chiropractic Medicare Bill
On January 16, 2025, legislation that would ensure that Medicare beneficiaries have full access to all the Medicare covered services a chiropractor can provide under his or her state’s chiropractic scope of practice was re-introduced in the United States Senate and House of Representatives. This bipartisan legislation would allow Michigan’s more than 2 million Medicare beneficiaries to receive the full range of chiropractic care, not just manual manipulation of the spine to correct subluxation, as has been the case since 1972. Email Senator Peters, Senator Slotkin, and your member of Congress TODAY and ask him or her to co-sponsor the Chiropractic Medicare Coverage Modernization Act.
