New Jersey PTA is excited to be back in person for our 2022 Leadership Convention! Plans are underway, and we look forward to having you join us on April 1-2, 2022, in Fairfield!

So join us this year as we head to North Jersey for the first time in nearly 25 years. Uncomfortable attending in person? Don't worry! There is a Virtual Option!

New Events: This year, we can't wait to have you join us at our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Breakfast and our President-to-President Luncheon. Our State President, Candy Fredericks, is excited to meet all the local and council presidents for some special one-on-one time. You won't want to miss it, and you can look forward to a Panel Discussion with education leaders and a Special Zooming into Membership Event with National, State, and local leaders sharing best practices.

Engaging Speakers: We have invited education leaders, motivational speakers, and friends of PTA to join us at our convention. You won't want to miss the wealth of information you will receive from them.

Exhibit Hall Fun: It has been two full years since we have been able to join our exhibitor friends in person, and they are ready with exciting programs, events, and ideas you can bring back to your PTAs. Including having lots of great giveaways. Make sure you save some room in your luggage to bring home all the goodies you will get. For the first time, we will also include an entirely virtual Exhibit Hall along with our in-person exhibit hall.

This opportunity will fulfill your training requirement for the 2021 - 2022 school year or get a jump start on your 2022 - 2023 training requirement.

You'll celebrate, advocate, and collaborate with fellow PTA members from around the state during two action-packed days, beginning Friday, April 1, and ending Saturday, April 2. In addition, this year, as an extraordinary opportunity, a Free Thursday (March 31) Night Pre-LeadCon Local PTA Leadership Training will be held FREE of CHARGE to any PTA Leader registered for any portion of the convention.

Proposed Local PTA Uniform Bylaws and State PTA Bylaws Amendments

One of the Leadership Convention highlights is voting on our Association Bylaws, which are our primary governing documents. As a delegate, you will be able to vote on these NJPTA Bylaws Amendments.

Proposed Legislative Actions and Priorities and Resolutions

Resolutions are official NJPTA positions and are the platform from which we advocate. Legislative Actions and Priorities are the guiding advocacy pillars for the upcoming year.

Resolutions debate is one of the high points of leadership convention. When you come together with other delegates to voice your views and act on your principles, you will feel the collective power of volunteers to make a difference to children and schools.

New Jersey PTA has negotiated a reduced room block rate for overnight accommodations!

Hotel Reservations are to be made on your own at the Doubletree by Hilton Fairfield Hotel and Suites. Hotel Room Nights are $150.12 per night. Hotel Reservations are to be made on your own (under NJPTA room block), using the hotel booking link below. 

If your PTA unit or council is responsible for your overnight expenses, please present your PTA unit check with two signatures and your unit tax exempt form with the same name at the time of check-in to have room tax removed. All meetings, workshops, sessions, meals, and other planned activities for the NJPTA Annual Convention are held at the DoubleTree.
