New Jersey PTA wants to celebrate the wonderful things your PTA is doing! Local PTA units bring amazing, innovative programs and services to children and families every day. These awards are given each year to recognize and share units’ special and unique programs.

New Jersey PTA wants to recognize the excellent PTA partners in your school/district who work collaboratively with your PTA as well as the parents, students, and community.

Applications are open to all PTA/PTSA/SEPTAs who are in Good Standing with New Jersey PTA.

Awards will be presented at the 2023 New Jersey PTA Leadership Convention.

★ One (1) Complimentary lunch for the Celebration Event (11 am-2 pm) on Sunday, April 23, 2023
★ Special recognition and award presentation.

  NJPTA VIRTUAL LEADERSHIP TRAINING SERIES  
 

Whether you are a new PTA leader, in a new role as a PTA leader, or a returning PTA leader, the Virtual Leadership Training Series will help you with the essential tools to run your PTA effectively.  Remember, the NJPTA Standards of Affiliation requires all PTA officers to be trained each year they hold a leadership position.


All virtual leadership training workshops are now recorded and posted to the virtual
leadership series webpage.  You need to register and pay a $5.00 fee to receive access to the recordings/webpage.  An evaluation must be completed for each workshop recording you view so you can receive your certificate - you must view at least 3 virtual recordings to receive credit for your training requirement.

Registration is now open for National PTA’s 2023 Virtual Legislative Conference (LegCon). 

Taking place March 7-8, LegCon is an excellent opportunity to interact with fellow PTA leaders and child advocates; get an insider’s look at National PTA’s legislative priorities for the 118th Congress; learn how to impact policy decisions at the local, and state, and national levels; and meet with your members of Congress to discuss the issues important to you and your community.

  Arts Ed NJ  
 

New Jersey PTA advocates for the arts in education, and we are proud to share a virtual program being sponsored by Arts Ed NJ!

Arts Ed NJ is committed to advancing equity internally and within the arts education sector. They are launching an eight-week asynchronous Culturally Responsive Arts Education (CRAE) Workout and synchronous Guided Conversations on January 16 and runs through March 10. 

Guided Conversations build on the asynchronous Workout and happen every other Monday from 4-6 via zoom and give participants a chance to dive deeper, learn from others, and build a community (January 23, February 6, February 20, and March 6).
