Who's Your +One? Get Ready to Help Increase Membership!

NYS PTA is requesting each one of our current 225,000 members to support children by asking just one person to join in our mission on March 28.

Our goal is to double the amount of voices speaking on behalf of all children in NYS in 24 hours. We will update our progress on our website, Facebook and Twitter throughout the day.

Who will you ask to be your +ONE?

We are Open til 8 pm on Thursdays!

To better support our members, on Thursday evenings the NYS PTA office will be open until 8 pm to receive phone calls! We hope this additional open time will benefit unit leaders, members, parents and families.

Letter from NYS Education Commissioner MaryEllen Elia

Dear Parents,

The New York State Education Department (NYSED) takes school safety very seriously. Our schools must always be safe havens - places where students and their teachers are free to learn, teach and grow together. We must do everything in our power to ensure that all children in New York State attend schools where they can learn in a safe and supportive environment.
