Tell Congress that Immigration Reduction is Necessary to Conserve America’s Open Spaces.
Many politicians who favor high levels of immigration also claim to be defenders of wildlife and biodiversity without realizing how mass immigration threatens and undermines their conservation efforts.
This action is especially for them.
The United States has over 1,300 endangered or threatened species listed by the EPA. Immigration-driven population growth is directly contributing to habitat loss. NumbersUSA details this in a series of sprawl studies we have conducted over the course of two decades.
In recognition of World Wildlife Day, Take Action and Tell Congress that Immigration Reduction is Necessary to Conserve America’s Open Spaces.
March 3 was established as World Wildlife Day by the UN in 2013.
The World Wildlife Day website explains the reason for the annual commemoration:
“People everywhere rely on wildlife and biodiversity-based resources to meet our needs - from food, to fuel, medicines, housing, and clothing. For us to enjoy the benefits and the beauty that nature brings us and our planet, people have been working together to make sure ecosystems are able to thrive and plant and animal species are able to exist for future generations. So, let’s celebrate wildlife and the important conservation work being done around the world!”

America is seen as a leader in conservation efforts. In many respects this is true. However, the effort and money dedicated to preserving America’s natural resources for future generations has been greatly hampered by decades of high immigration levels.
