Urge Rep. John Carter to Co-sponsor H.R. 569 to Reform Birthright Citizenship
Rep. John Carter previously co-sponsored legislation, the Birthright Citizenship Act, to reform birthright citizenship by limiting it to the children of U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents.  Eliminating birthright citizenship for the children of temporary visitors, temporary workers, and illegal aliens would remove one of the main drivers of illegal immigration and dissuade many from illegally crossing the border or overstaying visas. NOW is the time for Rep. Carter to once again co-sponsor the Birthright Citizenship Act, Rep. Brian Babin’s H.R. 569, to reform and modernize birthright citizenship.

Please send a message to Rep. Carter and urge him to co-sponsor H.R. 569, the Birthright Citizenship Act, to reform birthright citizenship.
