As you are well aware, the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule Final Rule for 2025, CMS cut the conversion factor by -2.83% effective January 1, 2025. These unfair cuts to everyone in the medical community exacerbate existing challenges of rising inflation, expenses, and burnout. It also makes it more difficult for patients to access the care they need, particularly in rural and underserved areas. 

It is critical for your representative to hear from you NOW on the impact of these cuts to your practice. 

The Medicare Patient Access and Practice Stabilization Act of 2025 (H.R.879) has been introduced in the house by Representative Greg Murphy, M.D. and Carol Miller with the bipartisan support of eight co-sponsors. This bill would provide a payment update of 6.62% and, if passed, would take effect on April 1, 2025. This increase would negate the current cut and provide for an inflationary update for the rest of 2025. Email your representatives today urging them to support H.R.879 and add it to the upcoming legislative package in March.
