Please co-sponsor the READ Act Reauthorization
The READ Act Reauthorization Act of 2023 has been introduced in both the House and Senate (H.R.681, S.41). This legislation would reauthorize the original 2017 READ Act, enabling the U.S. to lead on global equity in access to education. It is exciting that this legislation is already being considered in both chambers of Congress so early in the session.

The READ Act Reauthorization allows the U.S. to help improve literacy and numeracy in basic education, demands better monitoring and evaluation efforts, and ultimately improves the U.S.’s ability to achieve key global education goals.

Take Action: Ask Congress to ensure the U.S. continues to lead in supporting quality, accessible education for all. Use this alert to ask your senators and representative to co-sponsor the READ Act today.
