URGENT: WMC MEMBERS –
Wisconsin consistently ranks amongst the most expensive states nationwide for healthcare costs, detrimentally impacting the business community.
Last week, Senator Julian Bradley (R-New Berlin), Senator Mary Felzkowski (R-Irma), and Representative Bob Wittke (R-Caledonia) announced the Price Transparency for Patients Act, legislation that lays out precise requirements for hospitals to publicly share pricing information with consumers.
This legislation empowers consumers to take control of their healthcare, introducing competition in the health industry and lowering costs for Wisconsin patients.
Wisconsin’s business community urges lawmakers to cosponsor and support the Price Transparency for Patients Act to empower consumers and lower the state’s inordinate healthcare costs. Please use the form to tell your legislators high healthcare costs hurt Wisconsin families and make the state a less competitive place to do business.
