Cosponsor the Expanding Service Coordinators Act!

U.S. Representatives Adam Smith (D-WA), Suzanne Bonamici (D-OR), and Joyce Beatty (D-OH) introduced The Expanding Service Coordinators Act, which aims to support Service Coordinators through funding, training and more! Endorsed by AASC and a broad coalition of national partners, this historic piece of federal legislation creates new opportunities to grow supports for residents and career development pathways for Service Coordinators.

AASC stands behind The Expanding Service Coordinators Act, which will:

  • Makes critical investments in HUD service coordinator programs that serve older adults and people with disabilities in subsidized affordable housing
  • Provides training and student loan forgiveness opportunities to service coordinators
  • Supports rural communities by expanding service coordination in USDA affordable housing sites +

AASC and the bill's sponsors need your support to ensure this important legislation is approved! To increase the likelihood of the act’s passage, we're currently seeking additional co-sponsors. Representatives who cosponsor the bill will be recognizing the vital work of service coordinators and the importance of investing in the profession. Help move this necessary legislation forward by asking your Representative to support service coordinators and cosponsor the bill!
