IL: Tell your State Representative to support HB 4811!
Illinois House Bill 4811 mandates that high schools in Illinois start school no later than 8:30 am.

Teens are biologically programmed to go to bed and wake up later, and still require 8-10 hours of sleep for optimal health.

Early school start times lead to chronic sleep restriction, negatively impacting physical and mental health, driving safety, and ability to learn.

High Schools should start no earlier than 8:30am to allow for adequate sleep time.

Ask your state representative to support this resolution!
