Tell Members of Congress to Support Funding for Critical Nursing Workforce Development Programs
Congress is responsible for drafting spending legislation for fiscal year (FY) 2026, which involves determining funding levels for key programs that support nurses nationwide. This includes the Title VIII nursing workforce development programs administered by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). Title VIII programs are critical to strengthening and expanding the U.S. nursing workforce, especially in the face of pressing workforce shortages.

Please contact your members of Congress today and urge them to allocate sustained funding for Title VIII nursing workforce development programs. Your voice is crucial in highlighting why these programs matter to nephrology nurses and the patients they serve, and it helps lawmakers better understand the importance of supporting these programs. Thank you for your advocacy!
