Ask Congress to Waive Restrictions on the Use of Telehealth for Physical Therapy Services
Tell Congress to Implement a Permanent Telehealth Policy for Physical Therapy Services

Contact your members of Congress today and ask them to enact legislation that provides a permanent policy to allow telehealth services furnished by physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, and other providers to be reimbursed under Medicare.

Physical therapists have been able to use telehealth for Medicare beneficiaries during the pandemic under a temporary waiver allowed by the declared national emergency. The use of telehealth has been critical to ensure patient access to necessary care and reduce risk of infection from COVID-19. It has also helped therapy clinics and facilities during these challenging financial times. To ensure the continued recovery of our patients, and the stability of the health care system, it is critical that Congress act to allow for continuation of Medicare coverage of services delivered via telehealth after the national emergency is declared over.

Please take a moment to ask Congress to enact a permanent policy to allow therapists to continue to use telehealth under Medicare. Thank you for taking action!
