Ask Congress to Protect Therapy Patients by Allowing Medicare Payment for Telehealth During the COVID-19 Outbreak
As the nation comes to grips with the growing health challenge imposed by the COVID-19 outbreak, it is critical that Congress take steps to ensure patients who rely on physical and occupational therapy services to manage their chronic and acute pain are able to continue receiving these services.

By allowing Medicare reimbursement for physical and occupational therapy services provided through telehealth appointments, we can ensure vulnerable patient populations can remain safely at home while still having access to the physical therapy providers they depend on.

ACT NOW: Ask your lawmakers to call for the provision of waivers that would allow physical and occupational therapists to provide telehealth services to Medicare beneficiaries in any legislation involving the nation’s response to the COVID-19 crisis.
