California plans to declare April 24 as a state holiday to emphasize Armenian claims of genocide! Introduced by an Armenian American lawmaker, Adrin Nazarian, the bill intends to have the California government close its offices, public schools and universities, and community colleges in commemoration of events in 1915 Armenians call "genocide". At the same time, Armenian lobbying groups and legislators failed to recognize the mass killings of more than 500 thousand Anatolian Turks in the same period.
