The Arizona Senate will soon vote on the confirmation of Paul Brierley as Director of the Arizona Department of Agriculture, and your support is needed.
Paul is no stranger to Arizona agriculture. He’s one of us. From growing alfalfa in Graham County with his father to leading impactful change as Director of Organization at the Arizona Farm Bureau, Paul has spent his career living and working in the industry he now serves. His boots have been in the field, his hands on the wheel, and his heart with the farming and ranching families of this state.
His leadership at the Yuma Center of Excellence for Desert Agriculture (YCEDA) is a testament to his ability to unite researchers, producers, and policymakers to tackle real-world challenges, from water use to disease management. And now, after over a year of steady leadership as Director, he has proven himself once again, navigating disease outbreaks, invasive pests, and the full complexity of running a critical state agency.
There is no better candidate to lead the Department under this administration. Paul understands rural Arizona, respects the people on the land, and leads with integrity, adaptability, and deep-rooted commitment to agriculture’s future.
Please take a moment to contact your State Senator today and urge them to vote YES on Paul Brierley’s confirmation.
This is our opportunity to ensure that the Department of Agriculture is led by someone who knows the land, respects the people on it, and has a track record of getting things done. Let’s make our voices heard, loud and clear.
