Building an Atlanta for All!

Tell Your Elected Official: Invest in our neighborhoods now so we thrive together.
Mayor Andre Dickens’ Neighborhood Reinvestment Initiative is a commitment to Atlanta’s future. A critical and necessary part of this important work are tax allocation districts (TADs).

TADs allow the City of Atlanta to set aside a portion of future tax revenue growth for investment and improvements in a local neighborhood or community. This revenue can be used to help to fund affordable housing, grocery stores, parks, small business corridors, and safer streets. TADs do not raise your current taxes.

As federal funding for cities dries up, TADs are one of the most important tools for reinvesting in our communities and making sure every neighborhood shares in Atlanta’s economic growth.

Your voice matters. When you add your name and address below, we’ll match you with your City Council member and send them a letter urging them to extend the TADs, keep local dollars local and ensure our neighborhoods move forward together. Because when we invest in our neighborhoods, we invest in each other.

Let your voice be heard today by sending your Atlanta city council member a short note. It takes less than two minutes, and your action will help protect the future of your neighborhood.
