Minnesota lawmakers are advancing two bills—SF 3439 and HF 3239—that would expand vaccine mandates by removing religious and conscientious exemptions for the MMR (measles, mumps, and rubella) vaccine.
These bills intrude on informed consent and individual rights. The government should not have the authority to make personal religious and health care decisions for a child.
Mandates—by definition—remove choice. They replace individualized choice with a one-size-fits-all policy, regardless of a person’s faith or medical history.
Minnesota has long recognized the importance of personal responsibility and the right to make private health care and faith-based decisions.
Tell your legislators to oppose SF 3439 and HF 3239 and protect the right of Minnesotans to make their own medical decisions.
