These majestic forests are critical to our air quality and climate. They also provide critical wildlife habitat that supports hunting, fishing, hiking and other outdoor recreation traditions we Americans cherish.
Revoking these protections will open the door to more roads, more subsidized logging, more habitat fragmentation and destruction, and more costs to taxpayers. The Forest Service already has an $8.4 billion road maintenance backlog. Expanding road access into these fragile wilderness areas makes no sense.
Make your voice heard. Tell Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins: Keep the Roadless Rule in place. Protect our forests.
