Although I am aware that some congresspeople do not support incorporating climate concerns into the Farm Bill, farmers are at the front line of being impacted by climate change related disasters--including flooding and droughts. Further, as other sectors decarbonize, the percent of climate emissions caused by farming will increase, which will mean even greater scrutiny of farming practices by the ever growing number of climate concerned citizens.
