Public trust in the Supreme Court is at an all-time low. The American people's confidence has been shaken by political rulings that consistently go against the will of the people - including, most recently, gutting the Clean Water Act, a bedrock of environmental law for 50 years. And now, we're learning that justices are receiving huge sums of money from politically-interested donors which they are refusing to disclose.

We must restore transparency and accountability in the U.S. Supreme Court. I call on Congress to ensure that by passing the Supreme Court Ethics Act.
