• To increase all conservation program funding to meet the demand for support of regenerative agriculture practices, which improve soil health, contribute to climate and water resilience, and reduce GHG emissions. (AFT)
• To strengthen agencies in helping farmers and ranchers transition to regenerative practices, direct USDA to improve interagency cooperation and data sharing to better understand the role soil health practices play in risk mitigation. (AFT)
• To direct USDA to prioritize advanced grazing management, including management-intensive rotational grazing, in the implementation of conservation programs and initiatives. (RA)
• To create a just transition program to provide direct, comprehensive support to farmers and ranchers as they advance more regenerative systems in their operations.
• To help small-scale and historically marginalized producers and family farmers access all USDA programs, particularly around regenerative agriculture practices, by expanding funding and support programs. (AFT)
• To develop and invest in parity pricing programs to enable small and mid-scale farmers practicing RA to stay on their land and compete with large industrial operations.
• To ensure that all Conservation funding is mandatory and not subject to annual budgetary cuts.
