Almost half of the time left has elapsed since the UN Scientists told us we must significantly reduce our emissions by 2030, yet despite passage of last year's IRA, Congress has not identified a plan of how we will meet that goal and created the necessary legislation to ensure we do.

Instead, our emissions continue to increase each year. We need a Congress and an Administration to focus and take all necessary actions to ensure our significant emissions goal is met, worldwide.

We can't afford to wait for them to pay attention and take sufficient action to guarantee we make the needed emission reductions.  We need to know now that they will move forward.
