2023 was a terrifying wakeup call for the chaos that runaway climate change has in store, with unprecedented hurricanes and wildfires and the hottest month in 100,000 years. We are down to the last and final years before 2030 - the decade when scientists warn we MUST reduce emissions by at least 50% in order to avoid irreversible climate catastrophe.

Therefore, we must be laser-focused this year on making bigger, bolder climate progress than ever before. Specifically, we need to:

1. Help elect and re-elect true climate champions up and down the ballot in November

2. Accelerate deployment of clean energy funding from the Inflation Reduction Act in all 50 states

3. Make big polluters PAY for the untold damage they have caused with a tidal wave of lawsuits like those in California, Delaware, and other states.

4. Act quickly to slash climate super-pollutants like methane and HFC refrigerants - the greatest source of immediate warming and the lowest-hanging fruit for cooling off our planet fast.

We've waited far, far too long to do something about the existential threat of climate change. Let's make 2024 the year we turn our future around!
