Given the attention to wildfires, numerous bills have been introduced to promote climate-smart forestry practices by members on both sides of the aisle. Unfortunately the bills can be confusing and some seemingly try to skirt existing environmental law. It is important to join forces with reputable environmental organizations and scientists to determine which bills to support and which to oppose.
