This bill would incentivize climate stewardship among agricultural producers. The continued care and conservation of our forests and wetlands is central to addressing the climate crisis.

With time rapidly running out, we must prioritize our natural resources. The forest, wetland and grassland biomes are critical in serving as carbon sinks and therefore a valuable natural resource.

There are two principle ways in which this bill promotes the health of the environment. The bill promotes increased reforestation across the United States and the establishment of a Coastal and Estuary Resilience Grant Program. Through these two objectives, this bill can enact real change.
