Climate Action Now

Tell your members of Congress to defend the new EPA rule promoting EVs!
The EPA's new tailpipe rule will help the U.S. reduce vehicle pollution, our largest emissions sector, by as much as 56% by 2030. In the process, it is expected to increase the market share of electric vehicles from the current 7.6% to 35–56% by 2032. This is a massive win for the climate, the economy, and public health.

Predictably, however, the oil industry and its allies have vowed to fight the rule. They are already spreading misinformation by arguing that EVs are dirtier than gas cars and that the power grid cannot handle them, which is simply not true.

We need politicians, the media, and car companies themselves to get out ahead of these bad faith arguments and help the public understand that this new rule, and the EV revolution as a whole, are driving America toward a brighter, cleaner, safer future.
