Climate Action Now

Tell Your Members of Congress It's Time for Some Grand Bargains to Speed Our Response to Climate Change!
Incremental approaches haven't been cutting it in achieving the speed and scale of change we need to address the climate crisis.

We have solutions but implementing them at the speed and scale we need can only work with agreement from all key players.  A case in point is made in the article in the sources from the LA Times about the struggles California is having over solar power generation.  Inevitably, there must be some trade-offs, and we must demand that our elected leadership at all levels convene the major players and work with us to ensure agreement is reached.

This will likely require climate emergency declaration, interest-based bargaining, stellar mediation skills, and other tools to keep the players at the table until the big agreements are made -- but business as usual and even the recent modest increases in achievement still put us on a trajectory to miss our decade-end goals by a wide margin.

It is time for bigger, bolder efforts, to change our pace.
