Climate Action Now

Tell your Members of Congress -- More climate action now to prevent extreme heat risk for millions of seniors!
We've broken global heat records for more than 10 months straight. 2023 was the hottest summer on record in the Northern Hemisphere for more than 2000 years.  And the warming is only going to continue until we draw down atmospheric carbon to climate-safe levels again, not just reduce our emissions.

Meanwhile, the world's population of seniors is also continuing to grow more quickly than most age groups.  As a result, scientists now predict that hundreds of millions of seniors will face deadly extreme heat risks in the coming decades.

The speed and scale at which we reduce our greenhouse gas emissions now could make the difference for nearly half of them.
