Climate Action Now

Tell your Members of Congress to use EN-ROADS wisely and keep 1.5° alive!
EN-ROADS (Energy-Rapid Overview and Decision-Support) is a powerful free tool developed by the non-profit Climate Interactive and the MIT Sloan School for exploring how to address global energy and climate challenges through large-scale policy, technological, and societal shifts developed using the best and latest science available. With it, scenarios can be created that focus on how changes in taxes, subsidies, economic growth, energy efficiency, technological innovation, carbon pricing, fuel mix, and other factors will change global carbon emissions and temperature.

Our leaders should be conversant with what it will take not just in the US but globally to keep the 1.5° C global warming goal in the Paris Agreement alive (hint: everything, everywhere, all at once) and they should be doing all they can to increase our country's climate change literacy.  This tool can and should be a part of the effort. People learn in different ways and, for some, the hands-on/show-me capabilities the tool offers can be very effective.  (If that sounds like you, by the way, check it out in the Sources.)

Let's urge our leaders to get familiar with this tool and start using it wisely to keep 1.5° alive!
