The science is clear, the planet's livable climate cannot afford any more fossil fuel development. We must declare our independence from fossil fuels at all levels.
According to Open Secrets, every year, oil and gas industries spend millions of dollars lobbying at the federal level (not to mention the millions spent at state and local levels), over $100 million per year for the last 15 years - making them the 6th largest industry contributor overall.
