School buses are central to our communities – they provide over 25 million children with rides to and from school every day and are estimated to travel over 4 billion miles each year. That is why it is crucial that we choose buses that support the health of children and our communities over those that cause pollution and negative health impacts.

To date, only 9 states have set zero-emissions school bus targets. With a fleet of almost 500,000 school buses to electrify across the country, it is important that every state does their part. If states make these commitments now, we will be able to see the big shift we want to see in the next decade.
