There is a lot of work that can be done to advance the electric school bus transition at the state level. The Alliance for Electric School Buses and Electric School Bus Initiative have put together an amazing resource in “A State Playbook for Equitable Electric School Bus Policy”. State legislators can use the recommendations and best practices within to develop policies that will work for their state, accelerate school bus electrification, and put equity first.
