Share this year’s annual assessment on climate change with your federal representatives
While the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change shares their climate change assessment once every five years, a team of 60 experts from around the world releases an annual report to fill in the gaps—and the 2025 edition is finally here.

According to the report’s findings, our window to act and avoid the worst possible impacts of global warming is rapidly shrinking. Without major change, we will pass the 1.5 degrees Celsius threshold in just a few years, and extreme weather events will continue to occur with increasing intensity and frequency. Sea level rise is already occurring twice as quickly as it was between 1971 and 2018.
