At the fall 2023 UNFCCC Conference of the Parties, humankind pledged to double annual energy efficiency gains from 2% to 4%.
Like with compound interest, energy efficiency gains build wins upon wins... gradually. But the overall numeric effect would allow us to fully meet HALF of our 2030 emissions reductions goal, simply by spotting energy efficiency gains in our homes and regions.
