Tell Congress to protect planned coal plant retirements
Currently, the U.S. is on track to retire 27 gigawatts-worth of coal power plants by the end of 2028—but so far, the Trump administration has issued 90-day "stay-open" orders for two coal plants that were just days away from retirement.

This both hinders our efforts to fight climate change and places a financial burden on ratepayers. Michigan's Public Service Commission chair estimates that the first three months of continued operation for just one of these coal plants could cost consumers as much as $100 million.
