Urge your federal representatives to support the Roadless Area Conservation Act
Adopted in 2021, the Roadless Area Conservation Rule—or "roadless rule"—protects the least-developed parts of national forests from roadbuilding and exploitation. This in turn protects important waterways, the habitats that local wildlife rely on, and the recreation spots that help drive tourism and bolster local economies. By preventing additional roadbuilding, the roadless rule also reduces wildfire risk and saves American taxpayers money.

The Roadless Area Conservation Act would codify the roadless rule into law. Let's urge our Congress members to get it over the finish line!
