The Ironwood Forest National Monument is a national treasure. It is home to long-lived ironwood trees, gila woodpeckers, bighorn sheep, beloved hiking trails, and beautiful views.
But now, because of it's proximity to rich copper deposits, it's at risk. One company in particular is looking to expand its operations into the monument—and H.R. 5393 would pave the way for that to happen.
