The PERMIT Act would eliminate the EPA's ability to block harmful projects, make it harder for states and tribes to protect their own waters, and prioritize outdated standards over those that reflect the best-available science. It will ultimately weaken protections for our streams and wetlands, and pave the way for certain waters to be excluded from protection altogether.
