Communities and ecosystems near the U.S.-Mexico border are currently navigating a sewage pollution crisis, driven by spills, polluted runoff, and contamination in the Tijuana and New Rivers. This bill would help address this crisis by supporting water quality restoration in both rivers, providing funding for water infrastructure improvements, and creating a new program within the Environmental Protection Agency to better manage each watershed.
