NCAR provides research and data on climate and weather to businesses, the public, and the scientific community. This work supports the center's advanced modeling and forecasting, which in turn help farmers and businesses prepare for severe weather disruptions. The center even partners with airlines to offer guidance during flights and works with reinsurance companies to determine severe weather risk.
