According to an analysis from Rhodium Group, even if EPA follows through with every deregulatory action they proposed last March, including the repeal of the endangerment finding, the U.S. is still on track to reduce emissions by 26-35% below 2005 levels. That’s only 6-9% less than if those regulations were left in place. And it’s all thanks to the rapid growth of clean energy, which has not only become cheaper than fossil fuels, but can be deployed and brought online much more quickly.
