Tell Congress to investigate the EPA's attempts to weaken vehicle tailpipe pollution standards
The Environmental Protection Agency has proposed delaying implementation of the 2024 federal tailpipe rule, which would have established more rigorous emissions standards, accelerated the clean vehicle transition, and helped us maintain global competitiveness on the EV market. By delaying implementation, we are guaranteed to fall behind other countries.

Congress hasn't been helping, either. Last year, they used the Congressional Review Act to overturn California's EPA waivers, which allowed the state to establish stricter vehicle standards. According to a recent analysis by the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine, this action, in conjunction with the Trump administration's other environmental and regulatory rollbacks, will impact the lung health of hundreds of thousands of Americans.
