Urge Congress to provide oversight on the EPA’s reconsideration of the Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program
The Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program has been collecting data on industrial sector emissions since 2010. It has played a key role in developing and enforcing policies and regulations that target emissions, bolstering transparency for public and private actors, and encouraging competitiveness throughout the industry.

Unfortunately, in September 2025, the EPA published a rule that would roll back reporting requirements for all but one source category—one of 47. They have also delayed the deadline for 2025 reporting to October of this year.
