Urge your Congress members to challenge the ESA Amendments Act if it is reconsidered this session
The ESA Amendments Act would overhaul the consultation process, make it harder to list species, shift implementation responsibilities from the federal government to the states, and allow the cabinet-led Endangered Species Committee—or “God Squad”—to more freely exempt projects with national security benefits from compliance with the ESA.

While this disastrous legislation was shelved on Earth Day, it could still be reconsidered this legislative session. Let's make sure our federal representatives are ready to take a stand!
