Submit a public comment opposing EPA's rollback of coal ash cleanup rules
Coal ash is a toxic cocktail of carcinogens, neurotoxins, and heavy metals—substances that EPA's own research has linked to cancer, neurological damage, and other severe health impacts. When coal plants dispose of coal ash in unlined ponds and landfills, these toxic substances can leach into our drinking water supplies, and coal ash dust can travel on the wind, worsening air quality. Using coal ash as fill material can also lead to soil contamination.

It goes without saying that we need stronger—not weaker—coal ash cleanup regulations. Submit a public comment telling EPA you oppose their proposal!
