On March 5, our team of COPD Foundation lung health advocates traveled to the US Capitol in Washington, DC to meet with their legislators and advocate for our 2025 policy priorities. Our advocates shared three "asks" that would increase the quality of life for lung health patients across the United States. One of these "asks" is to co-sponsor S.1406 / H.R.2902, the Supplemental Oxygen Access Reform (SOAR) Act, to ensure Medicare patients have access to essential oxygen therapy.
