Please take a minute to support CRA’s efforts to keep alcohol-to-go sales as an option for you to continue considering as part of your operations.
If no action is taken, the law will simply expire at the end of the year.
CRA’s sponsored effort, AB 2663, extends the sunset date for provisions established under SB 389 (Dodd), which allows restaurants to participate in alcohol-to-go sales. Again, without this extension, the authorization is set to expire on December 31, 2026.
AB 2663 simply extends existing law, retaining strong safeguards to ensure that these drinks are transported responsibly while allowing restaurateurs to continue benefiting from the flexibility that this revenue stream provides.
Whether you utilize the existing privilege of having alcohol delivered, with meals to guests, or not – we are asking you to support our effort to keep this option alive for you to consider in future operations.
Please take a quick moment and use the tool attached to send a letter to your state Assemblymember on the Committee on Governmental Organization – urging them to vote “aye” on AB 2663 (Rogers) — Alcohol-to-Go.
Thank you,
